Zepheris (or Zefiris) is a mysterious girl who tends to appear when the Cassul siblings find themselves in trouble, as in serious trouble. Quiet and solemn, Zefiris is actually a Dragoon, a powerful relic created in a war that transpired more than 5000 years ago. She survived to fulfil her master's final wish, and chooses to guide the Cassul party, even accepting Shannon as her new D-Knight (master). Shannon has difficulty trusting Zefiris, especially as more and more information about the events of the War of Genesis begin to surface. This gap in their relationship makes it difficult for Zefiris to utilize her full power, especially when Shannon has to call upon her power to aid him during a combat situation. Despite this mistrust, Zefiris still believes in Shannon and does everything she can to try and convince him that her intentions are not malevolent.
Note: A weapon with humanoid personality and floats around in mid-air, Zefiris is a cool and calm character who feels more than her looks show. There are a lot of reasons why she chose Shannon to be her new D-Knight, but I personally feel that the biggest being his similarity to her master. Shannon looks like a reincarnation of Zefiris' master and there was a bond similar to love between her and her master. Lacking social skills, Zefiris usually ends up being misunderstood by Shannon, which adds to their conflict. Deep down, she is waiting for his acceptance. |
